Brazil’s environment minister Carlos Minc confirmed the new director-president of the country’s National Water Agency, Vicente Andreu, and managing director Gilbert Lotufo in their posts last week.

Brazil’s environment minister Carlos Minc confirmed the new director-president of the country’s National Water Agency (ANA), Vicente Andreu, and managing director Gilbert Lotufo in their posts last week. Mr Andreu was previously secretary of hydraulic and urban environmental resources at the Ministry of the Environment. Mr Lotufo, a hydraulic engineer and graduate of the University of Sao Paulo, has worked with the National Water Agency since its inception and was previously superintended of hydraulic resource planning.
